My 2018 Cheat Sheet For Joy

The eight pillars of joy

4 are qualities that come from the mind

Perspective

Humility

Humor

Acceptance

And the other 4 come from the heart 💜

Forgiveness

Gratitude

Compassion

Generosity

The truth of the matter is that we create our own suffering, so we should be able to create our own joy.

Out of those listed above, which 2 do you think are the most pivotal to lasting happiness?

Both the Dalali Lama and the Archbishop agree on this one, it’s compassion and generosity. And please note that both of those come from the heart.

Our perspective towards life is really the foundation for joy, because the way we see things are the way we experience them.

“With our minds we create our own world”

Buddha

We all see things differently. We experience life through our own set of lenses. We don’t see things as they are, we see things as we are.

If you want to learn how to experience more joy, then you have to be willing to see things differently. You need to come up with many different perspectives.

When you look at an experience from many different angles, your sense of worry and anxiety reduces. This in turn will bring more joy to your life.

Finding joy in the midst of chaos is an amazing thing to experience. I wasn’t always able to see things differently. I used to think one way and that was it.

But I must confess to you that I prefer my new mind over my old one. And, they are exactly right you can retrain your mind and your heart.

But first you have to want it!

If you want to learn how to bring more joy into your life message me today ✌️
