Welcome to my mommas living room. It’s a very magical place as you can see above. Ever since I was a little kid she’s made my Christmas a special one.
There’s nothing quite as magical as the love we feel during the Christmas Season. Last night we had our first Christmas Party and I enjoyed the organized chaos.
I’m glad I took a few pictures before the party, because it sure was a hot mess afterwards.
Here’s my grandma looking pretty as ever. It’s her first Christmas without her husband and we all squeezed her just a little bit tighter, and held on just a second longer.
Christmas is happy and then it’s sad all in the same second. I think that’s because we’re supposed to feel all of the emotions that comes with the birth of our savior.
We’re supposed to pause and reconnect to our hearts so we can share our light with the world.
Spending time with my family on Christmas is one of my favorite traditions. Every year it changes just a little, but the love stays the same.
The kids have were all happy to share in the presents and the fun last night. We even managed to sneak a picture in before things got really crazy.
My husband and my grand baby together make my heart skip a beat. I’m not sure how we survived all these years without her!

I wanted to share my happy with you this morning. I also wanted to thank my mom for all that she does for us, selflessly and without expectations.
My mom is my hero for many reasons, but most of all because she taught me about the important things in life.
She taught me that the lesson is always in the journey. She taught me to speak the truth and take no shit. She also taught me how to stand up for myself, and how to look inside for the answers.
My momma is a #boss
She does all these things for her family on her own and all alone. I don’t know about you, but I’m beyond blessed that God have her to me!
