Worry implies that you don’t quite trust God is big enough, powerful enough, or loving enough to take care of what’s happening in our lives.
Stress says that the things we are involved in are important enough to merit our impatience, our lack of grace towards others, or our tight grip of control.

I’m reading Crazy Love by Francis Chan and I’m learning so much about myself and about our father.
Why are we so quick to forget God and who do we think we are?
We’re humans who forget the meaning of life and our purpose here. We are often times consumed by the littlest things and we spend all of our time and energy on things that don’t really matter.
Revelations 3:1 says I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.
That’s one of the deepest things I’ve ever read in my entire 47 years of living!
That one struck me to the core because in the end it doesn’t matter what we think, or what others think of us.
Our reputations means nothing to God, all that matters is the reality of who we are before God.
He knows the truth about our hearts.
He knows when we’re being open and honest and he knows when we’re lying to ourselves.
He goes on to say that perhaps that sounds harsh, but harsh words and the loving truth often go hand in hand 🤚
We have to believe it enough that it changes how we live!
