I’m a hair stylist so I understand completely that these are scary times.
I’m taking all the precautions to keep us safe and to ensure that we are following the guidelines laid out in front of us.

May we learn to not judge each other in these times based on our choices because we do NOT all have the same options. Everyone is doing the best that they can to survive right now and we need way more compassion and way less comparison.

Everyone is doing the best they can at figuring out some really hard shit and I just wanted to tell you that I think your all doing amazing!

It’s really easy to fall apart right now and to point the finger, but I prefer to see all the goodness in the middle of the chaos. I love the stories of people that are helping and getting absolutely nothing in return.

I saw Jameson’s liquor donated $500,000 cash for bartenders to receive grants while the restaurants are closed.

I love that it’s a grant! Small businesses do NOT want loans when they’ve worked so hard to make a profit every year.

I see parents doing school work and yoga with their kids while they have them at home. And this means they are taking care of their mental health while they are on break.

I see friends supporting small businesses so that they don’t all fall apart.

I see how lucky we really are because God gave us the internet and imagine if we were stuck at home without it!?!?!? That in itself shows you that he knew exactly what he was doing. #TruthsWithTayTay

I’d say things are going to be crazy for a while but that this too shall pass. In times like these we must always refer to ourselves as a collective we and not an I.

Not how can I survive but how can we be of service to our town and to our neighbors?

I believe that love and hope will win over the fear that the virus has endured. I also think that we will all come out stronger and braver if we’re willing to accept the change that’s happening.
