Practicing Love

Good morning beautiful souls!

I’m so excited to be drinking my coffee and typing to you this morning because I’ve got some pretty amazing news to share with you.

As many of you know last year I decided to become a yoga teacher and while it seems like we just got started, we’re actually almost half way through.

And since we’re that far into it, it’s officially my turn teach in the studio today and I couldn’t be any more excited then I already am.

I wish I could tell you exactly how I felt, but there’s absolutely no way to write about it. Yoga is like my saving grace, my second chance to open my heart.

Yoga was there for me and in time with consistency I was able to learn more about myself then I ever have before, simply by being still on my mat.

Sometimes in life we get so caught up in the doing that we forget the being. But yoga reminds us to be still and to seek for the answers inside us.

There’s absolutely no better teacher of self love then yoga. You will learn when to say yes and when to say no. You will find yourself free from all of those pesky thoughts and readily available to experience peace and presence.

Yoga will transform your heart if you allow it. I know this because it’s done exactly that for me. We spend so much of our lives running away from ourselves, when we really just need to learn to pause and be still for a moment.

I am excited and afraid and nervous and ecstatic and sooooooo much more. Forget that I’ve taught several classes because this ones just a little bit different.

I am beyond blessed to be where I am today. After spending many years living my fears, I’m finally free to be me. The real me, not the broken me, not all of the things that have been done to be, but quite simply the girl with the open heart.

The girl that learned how to love again and again no matter how hard the hurt or how big the pain.

A special thank you to my husband and My daughter for supporting me as I continue my schooling. I know that sometimes we have to sacrifice If we want to grow and change.

A huge shot out to all of my friends that have let me teach you and practice with you along the way. I would not be half the person I am without all of you.

I appreciate your willingness to learn something new. I am exactly where I need to be and everything is happening just as it should.

I hope you understand the gift of an open heart, and that you work hard to live a life of love and not a life of fears.

Wish me luck friends

Namaste
