Last night I hung out with my fellow yogis for a couple of hours, immersing ourselves in love and light.
The solstice is a time for hibernating. Just like earth needs need to rest so do our souls.
The energy of the solstice changes from day to day. One day we could be bouncing off the walls and full of energy, and the next day we could want to stay home all day and not visit a soul.
This is perfectly normal and it’s ok friends. This is what the seasons all about. Learning to honor ourselves and what we need.
Coming home to our hearts and spending time with those that fill us up.
It’s learning that we have to choose our friends wisely, and it’s up to us to decide who we spend our time with.
The Solstice is a time for a deep cleaning. Deciding what and who it’s time to let go of and learning to focus our energy in things that truly matter.
It’s a time to let old things go. We don’t need to hold onto hurt and pain, and we don’t have to spend time with anyone that might cause those 2 feelings from us.
The solstice is a time for renewing your spirit and your heart, and that means taking things slower.
Honoring our hearts instead of our heads and creating a brand new space for our souls to emerge from, so that when spring is here we can truly blossom.
Until then do lots of yoga, meditate, read, watch movies, and spend time learning how to honor your soul.
When you tired listen and when your ready for fun then go have some.
This is the year that you learn to be you.
