My group just started a 30 day water challenge and I couldn’t be more excited to teach people about themselves.
It’s an opportunity to see what it takes to make it 30 days and to not give up. It’s a chance for you to learn how to show up for you, and how not to quit.
If you take you body weight and you divide it by 2, that will give you the number of ounces of water that you need to drink in a day.
I was totally impressed with the number of friends that jumped on board and were ready to accept the challenge, not even knowing what it would be.
The water challenge doesn’t cost a thing and you don’t have to go anywhere special to be a part of it, so anyone can do it.
It’s an amazing way to create a new healthy habit while bonding with a group of like minded people, that are exactly like you.
The water challenge has us practicing consciousness because we have to actually remember to drink the water all day long until we’ve reached our marks.
A super important part of the challenge is that you can’t change the rules at all. You can still drink your pop and your coffee, but you must also drink your water.
You cannot count the water in your coffee as water because those aren’t the rules. If we want to change we must learn to be coachable and this means not listening to our own brains, but adapting to the challenge.
This means learning a new mindset by being willing to be led down a different path.
