Some people might think that I was dreading this birthday, given my current situations but I promise you I loved it.

It’s the first time in years that I felt as though I was truly celebrated and that’s because I celebrated myself.

Ladies after years of serving my marriage and my family I’m not ashamed to tell you that I’ve learned how to choose myself! I know it’s not what we are taught but I promise you it’s what I’m teaching.

45 is exhilarating and exciting on every single level. I love the person I’ve finally become and I won’t ever stop shining my light.

What an amazing gift it is to truly show up for yourself instead of avoiding yourself or beating yourself up.

Every single thing in my life is new right now and I love it because we don’t grow when we’re in our comfort zone.

I love the single life and I love all of the new people I get to meet. I can’t wait to create a shit ton of new memories this summer with the people I love and with the friends I haven’t even met yet.

Aging is amazing when you fall in love with your own heart.
