I don’t know about you but I’ve spent the last 15 years building real relationships with real people. There’s no secrets and there’s no pretending.
It’s straight up messy in the middle and I wouldn’t change a single thing. Sometimes we get so busy making a living that we forget what life’s all about.
It’s been a rough year for my girls and I and I’m guessing there’s still more to come, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.
When the shit hits the fan you know who you can count on because they all show up.
After my accident I looked horrific and the people just kept coming.
At one point I was sitting on the floor and I remember thinking that I still couldn’t believe this was happening. But as I looked around at the love that was surrounding me I knew that eventually I would be ok.
And until I was healthy again these people were going to get me through. I’m sure my ugly cry wasn’t a great Look especially since my mouth was jacked and my lips were split wide open.
God will surround you with those who are supposed to be in your life and he will take away those that don’t belong. I believe wholeheartedly that my friendships are one my biggest blessings and accomplishments.
Because just like everything else in life where you spend your time is where your treasure lies.
I would be super lonely right now if I didn’t have a tribe of amazing women surrounding me my sisters and momma included.
