Please help me wish my beautiful daughter a Happy 14th Birthday. (Where does the time go?)

You have the most beautiful heart I’ve ever seen. In the last year you’ve grown so much and I’m so proud of the young lady you’ve become.

You’re learning how to speak up and to use your voice. You’re learning how to honor what Peyton wants instead of doing what makes everyone else happy.

You’ve learned about friendships and relationships and love and heart ache and there will be a million more lessons just like these during your lifetime.

You have the same love for “real” as I do. Relationships are our favorite thing in life and hanging out with friends and family make our hearts full.

I hope I’ve taught you to love your family, but to also love yourself. To never put yourself last, but instead honor what Peyton needs.

You’re so freaking talented and gifted when it comes to music and to art and yes I guess I’m going to have to add that your pretty good at fortnite also, because you play it A LOT!

You know how to have fun and to be silly and to laugh and to love. You are a gift to those who love you and I hope you have an amazing day.
