Good Morning world!
When life gets tough your going to need some tools to survive or you just might lose yourself in the midst of the madness.
As most of you already know I’m in the middle of my biggest life change ever, getting a divorce after being married to the same man for 17 years.
While at first it seemed really scary and absolutely impossible, now it’s exhilarating and it’s freeing. (This changes daily or maybe hourly)
But that’s only because I’ve worked my gratitude muscle so much that it’s one of my superpowers now.
I’ll let you guys in on a little secret………. Your supposed to be the hero of your own life.
There’s no one coming to save you or to fix you or to do the work for you. Your gonna have to get real with you, because your the one that’s responsible for you.
Gratitude is the gas that fills me up and gets me through, and it’s what makes me feel loved.
It wasn’t a muscle I’ve always had so I worked really really hard to make it stronger.
Want to know what keeps me going right now?
It’s the way that I see things and the way that I feel things.
I could be so sad and so angry that I miss out on the numerous blessing that surround me every single day and then where would I be?
More sad
More angry
More victim mode
More depressed
More anxiety
More drama for your momma
No freaking thank you π
I’m surrounded by love in the midst of the storm βοΈ and it’s these very relationships that see me through.
If I’m having a bad day I will always receive a message from an amazing soul that chooses to show me how much they care.
Sometimes it’s the most random people that you don’t even know care about you, but they do. And when they are brave enough to tell you it will fill your heart up like no other.
Sometimes it’s a text from a friend in the middle of the day letting you know that they love you
Sometimes it’s a big fat hug
Sometimes it’s a letter in the mail
Sometimes it’s a parking place front row
Sometimes it’s gift left for you at work
Sometimes it’s a friend who listens
Sometimes it’s a long talk with your kids
Sometimes its crying with a friend
Sometimes it’s dinner someone else paid for
Sometimes it’s just a look and a smile and it lets you know they care
God is providing for me because I decided to take action and change my life.
I was brave enough to do things his way instead of my way.
I became my own hero.
I learned to love myself and change my life and so can you!
If you see someone having a hard time reach out and let them know you care, your message could be exactly that their heart needed today.
If you get a feeling about anything in your gut then listen to it. Don’t let your silly fears talk you out of it.
Thanks for reading my blog and supporting my dreams even in the middle of the storm
I appreciate you #gratitude
Peace
God Bless
Namaste
Awesome Tavia; we can pick ourselves up during tough times. The key is to feel whatever feelings are there; sadness, grief, etc…..do not bury ’em and they move along. Then, greater happiness is all that remains.

Ryan you are exactly right π in the past Iβve pushed my feelings away instead of learning to process them π now I know they are here for a reason and they wonβt last forever! Thanks for reading my friend
