Practicing Gratitude In The Middle Of The Storm

There are times in life when you are so happy and so blessed you can’t imagine anything else. But then there are other times when the shits gonna the fan, and you better be prepared.

When the storms of life come to rain on your parade, you have 2 choices. You can be pitiful or you can be powerful but you sure can’t be both.

I sometimes teeter between them both. One second I’m powerful and strong and the next second I’m pitiful and I’m weak.

But the good news is that I can now decipher between the 2, because I’ve learned consciousness and mindfulness and this helps me get out of my head and into my heart.

I spent the weekend surrounded by beautiful girls of all ages. My nieces came to spend the night and my daughter had her friend over.

I cannot tell you what this did for my heart. Their giggles and their jokes and their Crazy was exactly what this momma needed.

Sure I could have sat around and moped all weekend and done nothing, but that wouldn’t help my happy at all. That would just give me more of the same victim mentality.

I decided to fill my house with love and By doing so it filled my heart as well.

If your not familiar with gratitude I would love to help you learn more about it. It wasn’t always something I was familiar with, but it’s now something that I can’t live without.

You can find calm in the storm if your willing to learn a new way to do things. I hope your week is full of love and I pray that you learn to practice gratitude because it will change your entire life.
