Good Monday Morning Friends
Yesterday I wrote about belonging and the feeling of wanting to be seen, today I’m following up on that story.
You see it’s true that we all feel the same way on the inside. We all have feelings of not being good enough, or smart enough, or pretty enough, or whatever it is that you tell yourself on a daily basis.
We all have a mantra that we live by. Maybe your not even aware of the tape that’s running through your head. Has it been playing the same recording so long that your listening on auto Tune, but not sure what your hearing anymore?
True belonging can only happen when we’ve
Taken the time to fall in love with ourselves. If your not sure who you are or where you belong then how can you understand what needs to change?
How can you fall in love with you if your unwilling to show up for yourself?
How can you belong anywhere if you first don’t belong to yourself?
How can you love others if you don’t truly love the soul inside you?
When I started my mission to love myself I was already convinced that I didn’t need any work. I thought I was one tough cookie who had already overcome a shit ton of adversity in her life.
I’ve always had a deep passion inside my heart for personal development and self Love. It turns out these are a part of my gifts God gave me. I can help others because I helped myself.
I found a love for writing and It ignites my soul. It’s so therapeutic for me to be able to share my stories with you.
With every single sentence typed I’m one step closer to my authentic voice, to my real me, to my heart.
The truth of the matter is this Friends, if you don’t feel like you belong to yourself, then you will never feel like you belong anywhere. Sure you can pretend your happy but your soul knows that your faking it.
There’s an infinite peace that occurs when all of the voices in your head are on your side. There’s a magic in your soul when everything finally aligns.
If you want to belong somewhere first up need to accept yourself.
