Good Morning Friends 🧘♀️
Once again it’s freezing here in Ohio, and I’m writing to you from my cozy couch this morning. As always, I’m wrapped up in a blanket with my phone in one hand and my coffee in the other.
Today’s blog was inspired by my own dreams, and I wanted to share with you how I learned to take action.
I didn’t always act on my desires. I actually had many dreams inside my heart for a very long time. But I didn’t know how to unlock them, and set them free. I heard their faint whisper as I was living my life, but I had also learned how to quiet the whisper. I’d learned how to hush it and make it go away.
Have you ever done that?
Become so excited by an idea that you feel the excitement and energy coursing through your body?
But then suddenly your fears set in, and you proceed to talk yourself out of your excitement!
One minute your excited as all get out, and the next minute it’s like crash and burn. Your mind has decided to help you stay safe.
Your brains actually just doing what you’ve trained it to do.
What if you could overcome the negative?
What if you decided it was time to learn something new?
Even if it scares you🧚♀️
Even if it’s weird and it makes you super uncomfortable🤷♀️
That is where the growing occurs. That’s where the soul is able to flourish and to be fed.
When was the last time that you truly did something different? Something that’s out of your norm!?!? Something that your not good at, but your willing to learn.
If your struggling to come up with an answer then it’s time for you to get into action.
One day I realized I was living a mediocre life, and I wasn’t ok with it. I wanted more, even if I didn’t know exactly what more was.
I had a dream to new, and I ignored it for a while, because fear had its hold on me.
But, eventually I just threw myself out there and started a business from home online. I was afraid and I still am sometimes, for about a second. Because I’ve learned how to overcome my brain, and rewire it for success. I’ve learned how to dream again and I’ve learned that we get back what we put into things.
The secret is………
you have to take the dream, and create a plan. You can’t just simply want to lose weight, save money, eat healthy, or be a better parent. Wanting is only a small part of the equation.
Now that you want it, the next thing you need to do is write down on paper the steps your going to take to make the dream come true.
I don’t care if you think this is a dumb idea, do it anyways! Then follow your plan. You’ve got to get past yourself and I promise you that you can do it💜 if your committed to yourself!
