If you want to change your life your going to have to change the people who influence you.
I know it might be scary to think about switching friends, but if you are the smartest person in the room, than your in the wrong room.
I used to partake in mindless chatter about other people, until I realized the power in my words. I didn’t know that simply by talking about nothing, I was going to create a bunch of nothing.
But that’s exactly what happens. When we can learn to focus all of that energy on ourselves our lives will begin to change. I don’t mean like egotistical, self centered focus, but self love.
There’s a huge difference. I am only capable of controlling myself, and this is where the power lies. When we take the time to reconnect with our hearts, we are able to be free from our minds.
What can you do differently this week to reconnect to your spirit?
What can you focus on that will bring you positive results?
And
Who are you NOT going to hang out with this week?
(Because their energy brings you down!)
These are good examples and reminders. I’ve eliminated obviously negative people and situations from my life. The hard task is when someone irritates me and tends to drain me, but also has good qualities. I set limits on my time with this person today. Now, I need to clarify for myself who and what I do want to spend time with. Thanks for bringing me to that step.

The type of people we allow ourselves to be influenced by either directly or indirectly affects us whether we know it or not. What we need to control is whether the affect is negative or positive because this impacts our happiness. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful day. 🙂
