How to find peace the right way ⭐️

What does peace mean to you?

To me it comes from the inside.

It’s a feeling and it involves a stillness.

It doesn’t mean that things don’t go wrong or that everything is smooth sailing. But what it does mean is that your insides can’t be shaken.

It means that even when it feels like

Your life is falling apart, that you can keep it together on the inside.

Peace comes from practice and from discipline. It’s not something that you just wake up one day and have. It’s something you can learn and bring into your life.

My go to emotion when I was younger (20’s) was anger. I would shut someone down or explode in zero point two seconds. I was volatile and I didn’t take any shit.

I was an Angry girl in my 20’s, but I also had a lot of fun during those years. Those were probably my most explosive years as well. I think it was because no one ever taught me what to do with my feelings.

Anything I learned about feelings I learned by watching the adults in my life. I absorbed their communication skills and their fears as well.

I didn’t want to be stuck with all that explosive energy, so I vomited them out onto those around me.

I don’t regret my 20’s in any way, shape, or form though! They are all a part of what shaped me into who I am today.

Isn’t it crazy to think of all the things we learn in school, but emotion management isn’t one of them.

You need a drivers license to drive a car. 🚎

You need an education to graduate.🔬

But you don’t get any instructions on your insides. 🤷‍♀️

I’m 💯 percent positive that if we could teach our kids yoga, and meditation they would be emotionally balanced. They would learn about the connection between their minds and their bodies. And, in doing so they would create a stillness within.

They would learn how to understand themselves. Their minds wouldn’t run their lives, instead their hearts would be running the show! 💜

Learning how to love ourselves is not an easy task. Undoing our conditioning from our childhood is not a job for the weak. 💪

But my friends I’m here to bring you some good news! 🧘‍♀️

You can change anything on the inside.

The voices in your head, are the same as everyone else’s. 👩

The only difference might be that some people learn how to pause, and some people never pause their entire life.

I’m on a mission to teach you more about yourself!

I do this by sharing my stories with you!

Peace doesn’t mean there’s no chaos or conflict!

Peace means that even in the middle of the mess, you can still remain centred!
