Celebrate The Little Wins

Today I’m taking the time to celebrate my little wins.  I’ve been reading books for years trying to figure things out.  I am compelled to learn more about myself and those around me.  I decided to start this blog to help myself and others.

I wanted to find a way to grow my at home business, by meeting new people.  I also though people who don’t like to read a lot, might benefit from my blog also.  It’s been a journey since deciding to this in Februray.  I’ve met all kinds of people all right.  Some of them are really cool and some of them are really creepy.  I’ve seen a lot of naked body parts since I’ve decided to interact with strangers. (No thank you, go put that thing away)  I’ve also met some pretty fabulous peoole too.

There are a lot of distractions out there, and it’s easy to get off track.  But sometimes when you take a detour, you realize there was a lesson right In the middle of it. You take away valuable information and you use it for your own good.

I read the book The Conscious Parent a few years back.  It’s the kind of book that I will never forget.  It healed parts of me that needed healing, and it helped my understand my parenting on a whole new level.  I have shared numerous stories about this book with my friends and my family, because I believe in it that much.

It’s not for everyone.  If your looking for a book that reads how to fix my kid, this is not for you! This book is about how to fix yourself! Anyways I could go on forever about that book, but I need to get to my win.

I shared a story with Dr. Shefali on her Facebook.  I just wanted her to know that lives are changed daily because of her.  I wanted to share a part of my story with her.  I can’t wait to read her new book The Awakened Family, and learn a ton more.

But first…………..

My win is that she responded to me. It was just 2 short words and I could hear her voice when she wrote them “beautiul indeed”.  My week has been made! Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

Look around and see if you have any wins that need celebrated.  If you focus on the good you will find it.
